Crazy That Way is a diverse collection of my recent songs, from big band swingers to an R&B rocker, with stops at bossa nova, jazz waltz, gospel, R&B ballad, and jazzy pop styles. It examines love from multiple angles: the sensation of falling in love (That Moment), romantic bliss (September Seems So Far Away), pure devotion (You Are Everything to Me), regrets (Paris Apartment) and primal passions (Only Human), love’s journey through a lifetime (The Mystery of Love), enduring passion (I Still Want You So), and of course, its frequent craziness (Crazy That Way). Stretching the theme a bit further, you’ll also hear about my love for “soul music” (Temple of Soul), my adopted hometown (Good Morning, LA), and (last but not least) love’s power to bring about a better world (We Will Find a Way). Some special guest vocalists bring their own flavors to the table, and I'm very proud to be in their company: Nicolas Bearde, Sidney Jacobs, Tawanda, Mark Winkler, and the Perri Sisters.
